Two Christian children named Obaid and Sajjid were kidnapped from neighborhood of Christian Town from Korangi area of District East of Karachi, on May 21, 2007. According to PCP correspondents in Karachi, Christian Town is colony of middle class Christians and nor a single family is so rich to pay such a huge amount of ransom but still poor parents of these children managed to arrange Rupees three hundred thousands after negotiation by kidnappers. The missing report of Obaid and Sajjid was lodged with Zaman Town, Korangi, Police Station on May 22, but police neglected to recover them. Police was duly kept informed about the negotiation with kidnappers but no attempt was made to trace cell numbers of kidnappers.
