Police arrested four culprits but later released three who were from families of local influential and detained one who was from North Western Province of Pakistan. According to the facts collected by Sharing Life Ministry Pakistan (SLMP) team, on 8th April 2007, Easter Day at about 10:00 A.M Cheena was kidnapped by four Muslim men when she was on way to the shop. The kidnappers made Cheena put a handkerchief on Cheena,s mouth she got unconscious and they pushed her into a car and took her to a warehouse of a factory situated at bank stop about 3/4 km away from her colony. The culprits raped her in warehouse and afterwards they took her to an unknown place where they repeatedly raped her for two days. Munir Masih brother of Cheena stated, "We are 5 sisters and 4 brothers. My parents are too old and stay at home. On the day of occurrence, 8th April 2007, Easter Day we all were present at home. At about 10:00 A.M my elder sister Bashiran Bibi asked Cheena to bring a packet of juice from near by shop. Cheena went to shop but not came back, so, we became concerned about Cheena and started to search her. Meanwhile at about 10:30 AM, I received a phone call on my mobile Phone number 0321.4225064 from an unknown number 0300-4328501. That was Cheena on the line, who told that some men have abducted her and they have locked her into a warehouse. She does not know where she is." Munir further told, "Cheena was talking with him and in the mean time someone snatched cell phone from Cheena and switched off. I heard Cheena was crying" Munir Masih further told Sharing Life Ministry Pakistan, "I informed Police of Nishter Colony Police Station about Cheena's abduction but police did not take any immediate action. Next day on 9th April 2007 I approached Mobilink Office (Mobile Phone connections Company) where the phone number 0300-4328501 is issued from. Mobilink office gave information as phone number was issued to one Mohammad Safdar. I informed police about the number and address I got from telephone exchange but police again did not take any action." On asking Sharing Life Ministry Pakistan Munir Masih told, "My family and me tried our level best to trace culprits out but in vain. On 10th April 2007, Tuesday at about 8/9 P.M the rapists dropped Cheena Bibi some far from our house. Cheena was in critical condition." Statement of Bashiran Bibi ( Sister of Cheena) "Cheena was in critical condition when she got back. She was bleeding heavily. We urgently transported her to General Hospital but a doctor refused her treatment by saying it is police case. Next day on 11th April 2007 police took Cheena formally to General Hospital for Medical Examination" Bashiran further told on asking SLMP, "We also met with Superintendent of Police who directed Amjad Wryech Assistant Sub Inspector to take legal action against rapists. Amjad raided over the factory and arrested Safdar and his three companions." Bashiran does not know their names. Statement of Cheena SLMP team asked Cheena about the occurrence. She told, "On Easter Day 8th April 2007 my elder sister Bashiran asked me to bring a packet of juice. I was going to the shop, when I was in the way to shop a car stopped near me and four men came out from car. One of them put a handkerchief on mouth and I got unconscious. When I became conscious I found myself in a warehouse. I was alone; I saw a cell phone on a table. I phoned my brother Munir and told him about my abduction. Meanwhile two men abruptly came into room, they jumped over me and snatched phone from my hands. They were armed with deadly weapons. After a while two more men came there and raped me. Afterwards they took me to an unknown place. That was a house of a lady. I don't know her name but the rapists were calling her Nazia. There were some other girls too. As I understood that was a whorehouse. They captivated me there for two days. During these two days they gave me drugs forcibly and repeatedly raped me. I got unconscious for beeing sexually assaulted for many times, bleeding was not stopping then on 10th April 2007 they left me in the street near my house." On asking SLMP she told, "The day when they dropped me in the street, they took me on a car and they all were armed with weapons." Police arrested four men including Safdar on 11th April 2007, but released three rapists.
