The petition filed under section 199, of constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan against Federation of Pakistan through Foreign Ministry, Interior Ministry, Director general of Passports and Justice Ministry of government of Pakistan urges to include Israel in passports issued to Pakistani Christians or to grant special permissions to visit Israel.
Ashraf Butt has pleaded that all sacred places in Christian religion are in Holy Land of Israel thus Christians have legal rights to visit Israel to perform religious rituals like Muslims who yearly visit Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj.
The petition further points about rights guaranteed to minorities in Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan and safeguards of basic Human Rights and Christians are deprived of those privileges on denial to visit Israel.
