Multan; June 20, 2006. A Blasphemy accused named Abdul Sataar, when escorted for court hearing by police was attacked and brutally murdered in daylight before Muzafar Garah district courts by Imran and Iqbal who were waiting before courts and used kn

The police officers with Abdul Sataar were also attacked and injured by knife but failed to safe Abdul Sataar. All this horrifying drama took place before Mazafer Garh Court District Multan. According to information, Abdul Sataar was detained in police custody under offence blasphemy law. He was accused for passing derogatory remarks against Allah and His Prophet Mohammad. According to Deputy Police Officer (D.P.O) Rai Mohammad Tahir, deceased Abdul Sataar quarreled with a truck driver and passed derogatory remarks against Allah and his Prophet Mohammad. The Case was registered against him under Blasphemy law. Police carried him for case hearing in the court meanwhile Imran and Iqbal attacked on him with knife and killed him. Police have arrested Imran and Iqbal.
