The decision by Bishop T Nasir to denounce Pakistani citizenship on August 11, 2006 when he goes before the Judge in Karachi to defend himself in a Civil Suit filed by Mullah Sitar has caused panic among Pakistani Christian settled in Europe and North America.
In hundreds of mails to PCP, The Pakistani Christian based in Western countries have conveyed their decision to denounce their citizenship to follow decision of Bishop Nasir.
A group in Canada of Pakistani Christians engaged in struggle for independence of Pakistani Christian and formation of " Christland" an independent state of 15 million Christians is launching movement to appeal Pakistani Christians to denounce their Pakistani Citizenship and replace it with " Christland"
It is also known that Government of ' Christland' in exile shall also be announced after August 11, 2006, if government of Pakistan denies to withdraw cases against Bishop Nasir in Sindh High Court.
