Victim of Bishop Azraiah firing dies in hospital
Raiwind: The First Information Report (FIR) No. 152/2006 registered on 26th April 2006 at Raiwind City Police Station u/s 324 and 109 PPC (Pakistan Penal Code) against Bishop Samuel Robert Azraiah and his men for attempt to kill Mrs. Khalida Nathanie
On 26th April two bullets had hit Mrs. Khalida Gill, who was attacked by the armed men of Bishop Samuel Azraiah at her residence and had to go a major surgery but could not survive, in her statement before death she had nominated Bishop Azraiah and his men for attempt on her life, which was later endorsed by her husband Dr. Raja Nathaniel Gill, the former Legal Advisor of Raiwind Diocese, Church of Pakistan.
The post mortem was performed today at Mayo Hospital, Lahore after which the family of victim Mrs. Khalida Gill took her body to Raiwind for funeral, which is expected to take place at 5:00 PM at Raiwind
