Lahore: March 21, 2006. Pastor Nazir Shad, Chairman, God Love Ministry International lodged strong protest to Chancellor Punjab university when he witnessed drawing of Holy Cross on floor of Institution of Education and Research of Punjab university and hundreds of students walking over Holy Cross as protest against cartoons of prophet Mohammad in western press. He urged Governor Punjab who is also Chancellor of Universities in Punjab province to take notice and end desecration of Holy Cross in Punjab University.
Pastor Nazir appealed to Muslims to respect other religions in Pakistan and immediate action against responsible of drawing Holy Cross on floor.
