PCC condemn Sangla Hill Police and City government officials on supporting Muslim mob to set on fire churches, school and parishes properties. Nazir Bhatti

USA. November 15, 2005. Founder President of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC, Nazir S Bhatti have strongly condemn the role of Nazim Nankana and police who supported Muslim mob to set on fire three churches,

Girls School, Girls Hostel, Nuns Convent and Parish Houses in Sangla Hill. He said that Police and City Nazim were present when Muslims were setting blaze the Christian properties and desecrating churches and no effort was made by these elected officials and police to stop mob. Nazir Bhatti said hundreds of Christian families have fled from Sangla Hill for refuge in other cities for safety of life because local administration sided the Muslim attackers and totally failed to adopt measures to prevent this worst attack. He said this attack of thousands of Muslims have freshet our sad memories when Christian village Shanti Nagar was burnt down in Punjab. Mr. Bhatti expressed Christian under fear to such extent that non of Christian leaders is heading toward Sangla Hill and are forced to hold press conferences in Lahore and Islamabad, the cities hundreds of miles from site of incident while Punjab government is hesitating to bring Muslims to justice. Mr. Bhatti added that Muslim feudal lords, politician and elected representatives of Nankana are fully involved in this incident of vandalism and desecration. He said that it's on record that influential Muslims have been kidnapping and raping girls from Christian Girls School Hostel but none of culprit has been ever punished. Mr. Nazir S Bhatti said demanded immediate arrest of persons involved in attack on churches. He also demanded registration of cases against Police officials and Nazim of Nankana.
