The CD album is called Aman Ki Rah that means way to peace in English. Mr. Nazir Shad has sung these poems and also composed its music. The post office of Pakistan has refused to accept one hundred complimentary copies of this album to send to the author of its lyrics who lives in Canada. The album contains songs about world peace. The author of these lyrics Dr. Stephen Gill cannot receive even the master copy of this album. The post office says it is against the law of the country to send any cassette or CD out of the country. Stephen Gill says that he is confused to know this restriction by Pakistan imposed on the items of peace and of educational nature. He adds that he has been writing almost from his childhood. He never faced such restrictions on the items of cultural value and particularly on the items of peace that is so badly needed these days and that is his main subject for his writing. In addition to English, Stephen Gill writes poems in Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi. A prominent Pakistani singer sang some poems of Dr. Stephen Gill in the first album titled Aman that means peace in English. It was released from Canada. Stephen Gill, a recipient of several national and international awards, has been honored with doctorates by universities. He has authored around twenty books, including fiction, collections of poems, literary criticism and books of political nature. His poetry and prose have appeared in more than five hundred publications. Peace, social concerns and human rights are the areas of his main interest. Dr. Stephen Gill adds that he did not have any problem in sending copies of his first album Aman to his friends in Pakistan. They received that album safely. But he cannot receive even a copy of the album of his own lyrics from Pakistan. He says he is confused.
