The Christian woman, a teacher by profession and principal of Christian girls hostel Brenton carey was victimized and stripped off in front of her students by Bishop sadiq Daniel and his associates in a bid to capture this valuable property. The victim was Ghazal Shafiq who has been approaching authorities for justice while Bishop was using his influence and funds to prevent lodge FIR, first Information Report against him with area police. The FIR was lodged against unknown persons of the incident after lengthy inquiry which may be termed as first step toward justice in this shameful case but its feared that any court may grant bail before arrest to culprits while Bishops Group in Church of Pakistan has put all its resources to safe accused persons. Ghazal Shafiq also appealed to Arch Bishop of Canterbury to ensure justice but this group of bishops also misled his Excellency and no action was taken. It is also reported by the Daily "JURAAT" newspaper of Karachi on the 10th July 2005, that the name of Sadiq Daniel has been included in the Exit Control List on the orders of Federal Government of Pakistan due to the on going case of outrage of modesty of Mrs. Ghazala Shafiq a Lady Administrator of Brenton Carey Girls Hostel, an institute of Karachi Diocese. Allegedly Sadiq Daniel along with his aides and the local police raided the Girls Hostel on the 11th April 2005, tortured Lady Administrator and other girl students who came to her rescue. The Lady Administrator was stripped naked while the clothes of other girl students were also torn. The local police refused to register case against the accused including Sadiq Daniel and his associates according to procedure. Being grieved Ghazala Shafiq complained to the higher authorities both at the Provincial and Federal levels. The President of Pakistan is keen to uproot victimization against women and has called a meeting of such women where Ghazala Shafiq who is Masters in Economics is also expected to participate. A long tussle resulted in delay of registration of the case while an inquiry of the Police Department vindicated the facts of the Brenton Carey Hostel Incidence as the issue took name. On the intervention of the Federal Government the High Officials of the Provincial Government and Provincial Police have taken the case thus eliminating the officials helping Sadiq Daniel and his team. Expecting an appropriate action shortly Sadiq Daniel has gone in hiding thus forsaking his close associates who took part in his criminal acts.
