Mr. Bhatti said ‘ Christian shall not tolerate any attempt of Muslim-Christian land mafia to set sales of church property of Gordon College” He added “ If any registrar or government office shall register the transfer or sale of property of Gordon College in name on any Muslim, the Christian shall consider it an act of government of Pakistan to sabotage the denationalization of Gordon College” Mr. Nazir Bhatti said, “ we have been demanding denationalization of Gordon College, Murray College, St. Patrick College and St. Joseph College but it seems government plan to declare these properties disputed by such sales to halt the denationalization of missionary schools and colleges in Pakistan” Mr. Bhatti said that Gordon College foundations have blood of martyrs James Masih and Nawaz Masih who laid down their precious lives against nationalization of missionary schools and colleges in protest procession in Rawalpindi, during Zulifiqar Ali Bhutto regime. He warned that we shall not allow any Christian or Muslim land mafia element to play with scarifies of Christian martyrs by selling land of Gordon College. Mr. Bhatti said ‘ Its shameful for those Christian staff members of Gordon College and clergy to bent before district level Muslim politicians to enter in any sale proposal of this esteemed educational institution marked by Christian martyrs” Mr. Bhatti appealed to President General Parvez Mushraf to intervene immediately to stop such sales of property of Gordon College and to announce denationalization of Gordon College. Mr. Nazir S Bhatti also appealed to Christians in Rawalpindi to remain peaceful. Meanwhile, Christians of Rawalpindi have issued a communication to invite attentions of national and international forums to stand beside them to save church property of Gordon College. It says, “ We are sending a very serious and issue of vital importance to all lovers of Pakistani Church, Christian community and crushed Christians of Pakistan to please take up this issue and contact the President as well as the Prime Minister of Pakistan to intervene and defend Church properties from the fanatic elements of Rawalpindi” “ We with a very heavy heart submit that some fanatic people belonging to Pakistani Jun Singh and Pakistani Rastrick Savic Singh, residing in Rawalpindi patronized by some corrupt politicians of district level with some money monger and money making traders are hatching a cunning conspiracy against Church Property Situated in Gordon College Rawalpindi. They have used some members of Gordon College Staff as pawns” “ We have learned through a reliable source that these anti-state, anti-social, anti-church and anti-Christian elements are using the scared name of religion, religious techniques and devices to materialize their plan or conspiracy” “Please write to The High Govt. Officials in Pakistan that it would certainly create a Christian Muslim Issue in Rawalpindi, which may place a black spot on fair name of Islam, Pakistan and Present régime. Please point it out also that any construction on the Church Property Situated in Gordon College would be against the Golden tenets of the Holy Quran, the Sunah and The Hadith and it would be resisted with full force at national level to glorify the Islamic Justice if the fanatic Muslims of Rawalpindi cannot do so”
