Islamabad: A 14-year old Hindu girl, Kaiko Mai, is a house maid at the residence of Haji Ramzan. She was sexually assaulted by Nadeem, a frequent guest of Haji Ramzan. Haji Ramzan has taken Kaiko Mai hostage and is threatening to end the girl’s
Kalval Jee, uncle of Kaiko Mai, met with Gyan Singh, a member of National Assembly and Parliamentarians Commission for Human Rights, and other members of PCHR to seek help for the young girl.
Gyan Singh, submitted a call attention notice in the assembly secretariat against the threat to the girl’s life and the subsequent reluctance of the police to register a case against the accused. Mr Singh wants to bring the story to the floor of the NA.
