UK. After successful publication of quarterly the Jaag magazine and Jaag Internet Edition. The Jaag committee has decided to have a Monthly Newspaper publication now. On the 23rd October at St Cuthbert Church, Huddersfield, the JAAG newspaper was lau

The programme began with prayer offered by Rev Emmanuel Rehmat and reading from the Holy Bible by Rev Javeed Bhatti. Mr. Kenneth Massey carried out introduction. The Host of the programme was Mr. Yaqub Masih, the chairman of the board of JAAG International. Mr. Noman Peters representative of JAAG News from Coventry, commented on the advance of the digital age and how important media is today, especially to raise Asian Christian awareness and how our brothers and sisters back home face difficulties. Other speakers included Mr. David Dean, Rev Mushtaq Masih, Dr Hanooq Ateeq and Rev Chand Baba. The speakers admitted Media being the main focus and how effective it has been in the past and today. The leaders retreated that power of media can be used to voice our Asian Christian community concerns with whatever means available to us. The Editor in chief Mr. Azher Choudhry called upon Right Rev Bishop Cecil Williams to perform the ceremony and offer closing prayer. Mr. Azher Ohri Choudhry said, “Publication in larger numbers will help us to cover wider areas. We all know media plays an important role in our everyday lives. We hope Jaag News will make a difference and contribute towards uplifting of the Asian Christian community.
