Quetta. August 9, 2004. After 33 years Emmanuel Ghauri (Known as Ghauri Family) had welcomed their grandson Elisha in their family. On July 24th at about 3.30 a.m, Sumera Asghar spouse of Asghar Ghauri gave birth to Elisha in Local Hospital at Quetta
This news spreaded to Ghauri Family in Quetta and to all relatives in Pakistan soon after his birth. Sisters of Asghar Ghauri named Mrs. Rahat Parvez and Mrs. Lubna Emmanuel played a remarkable role for informing the whole family on telephone, even before the daylight. While Two Other sisters Mrs. Tina Mushtaq From Layyah and Mrs. Amra Shahid from Rawalipindi took responsibilities of taking care of mother and Child in Hospital and after at home. Other two unmarried sisters, Saba Ghauri and Kanwal Ghauri were found busy in hosting the guests came to congratulate the family for newcomer after 33 years.
Mr. Asghar Ghauri Married to Sumera Nazir in 2001 and their First Baby is Miss Aliha Merry, who found quite jelous on arrival of Elisha Ghauri.
Mr. Emmanuel Ghauri and his wife Manzooran were seen on the gate of the house welcoming the guests and accepting the gifts, and sweet packets brought by the guests.
Pastor Younis Nazir with his family lead special prayers offered for Thanks To Lord for this wonderful addition in Ghauri Family and long life of Elisha. Mr. Younis Nazir and his family (parents of Sumera Asghar) were also very happy and found in smiles.
Mrs. Asia Nasir, Member National Assembly of Pakistan for Minorities, with her family participated as Grandmother of Elisha. (She is Auntie of Sumera Asghar) In her special message she congratulated Ghauri Family with her Love for Elisha, and wishes for his Sound Health, Bright Future and Long Life. Talking to the PCP Correspondent, she added, it’s impossible to express her views, as these are precious moments for their family and thanks to God for his priceless Blessings as Elisha.
Mr. And Mrs. Emmanuel Ghauri, talking to the PCP Correspondent, expressed their thanks to God and stated “they had answer of their prayers in Elisha and will remain thankful to God who keept eye on us in our very old age and added Elisha in Ghauri Family” They also thanked all relatives who shared their smiles and special thankful prayers for our Lord.
After Prayer, and dinner party, family mebers started celebrating the occasion, and the function ended till when we don’t know as PCP Correspondent left after photograph and details.
