Zardari orders special helpline for minorities: Who is running Federal Minority Ministry, Shahbaz Bhatti or President of Pakistan?

ISLAMABAD: March 19, 2010. (APP) President Asif Ali Zardari directed Minorities Minister Shahbaz Bhatti

to set up a special helpline in the ministry for victimized minorities. Speaking to the minister on Wednesday, Zardari said that the helpline should have an extension to the Presidency for emergency calls from members of the minority community subjected to violence. According to a press release, the president also inquired about progress regarding formation of inter-faith committees and the establishment of skill development centers for minorities. staff report
