According to PCP sources in Faisalabad, the Muslims owner of next shop shouted “Kafir is burning Holy Quran” “Muslims must kill this infidel” in minutes there was gathering of Muslims who strated beating Imran Masih. The police on round watched gathering and beating one person reached on spot and saved life of Imran Masih at 3:30 PM of July 1, 2009. At 4:00 PM, the announcements from the mosques incited Muslims to take revenge from Christians for this sacrilegious act. Haji Liaqat Abdul Gafoor asked him to set the material on fire to avoid desecration of Holy pages. When Imran Masih set ablaze the papers and books, Haji Liaqat Abdul Gafoor started shouting that Imran Masih was burning the pages of the Holy Quran. The Christian residents of Hajwery Town and adjacent vicinities are in hiding by fear of attack by Muslims and situation is tense in Fasialabad.
