Philadelphia: March 31, 2008. Nazir S Bhatti, Chief of Pakistan Christian Congress clarified that there is not any Christian political party

representing Christian in parliament because Christians in National Assembly and Provincial Assemblies are selected and imposed by Muslim political. Nazir Bhatti said "I have directed Pakistan Christian Congress Coordination Council leaders to file reference against any selected Christian member of national assembly or provincial assembly to use name of any Christian political group in media to mislead Christian nation" "If these Christian parliamentarians are representing Christian political group or party, I urge them to apply with relevant speakers of house for their party seats instead of sitting on benches of PPP, PML (N), PML (Q) and MQM" Bhatti added Nazir Bhatti said that Peoples Representation Act of 1976 prohibits sitting in house or claiming to represent any other group, which is not duly registered with Election Commission of Pakistan or from which they are not elected.
