Pakistan: September 4, 2007. Evangelist Joseph K. Din was settled in Virginia State with three daughters, a son and wife who decided to preach word of Lord in Pakistan after his retirement in USA.

He was involved in evangelism at age of 30 but became full time evangelist and headed to his native city of Lahore. The Din family is serving God through evangelism from four decades and established " Family Ministry" The Unique idea of "Family Ministry" was to help local Christian communities to arrange prayer meetings and to offer visits for spiritual encouragements. Family Ministry also worked with local ministries and congregation. Joseph Din's sister Nazir Din was running Family Ministry when he joined his sister in October 2006, in Lahore. On August 25, 2007, Joseph K Din returned home at 3:oopm after preaching and was sitting with his sister. He was planning for evening visits to a family for prayers when he saw two bearded young men in home. When Evangelists Joseph saw them in home, he asked them who are you and how do you get inside? But instead of any reply bearded men took out guns and shot him four times in chest and head. On hearing firing shots, Nazir Din rushed out of her room and saw he brother fallen on ground in blood bath. She saw those bearded Muslims walking out of home and fleeing on motorcycle. The neighbors also came after hearing shooting sound and rushed Evangelists Joseph to hospital but he could not survive and went to his eternal home. The police registered a murder case against un-known people and no arrest has been made till September 4, 2007.
