Nazir Bhatti said that formation of Pakistan was not possible if Christian leaders S P Singha and Ralia Ram have not voted in favor of All India Muslims League in London Round Table Conferences and before Boundary Commission but Christian's role in independence of Pakistan is ignored and forgotten. The government of Pakistan never commemorates Christian participation in Pakistan Movement nor national print and electronic media writes about their role on celebrations of Independence Day of Pakistan. PCC President said that Christians are son of soil when Muslims are invaders of their land who captured Indian sub-continent and ruled under power but now son of soil are slaves and invaders are masters. Nazir Bhatti said that Independence Day of Pakistan is Day of Slavery for millions of Pakistani Christians when their equal basic democratic rights are denied by legislation of blasphemy laws, objective resolution and other discriminatory laws in Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Mr. Bhatti added, " Christian rights are being crushed by Muslim majority in Pakistan and millions of son of soil are forced to live like slaves in their own homeland" The Christians are denied their due share in power and resources of state which was promised by founder of Pakistan. They are living like bonded nation under Muslim dominated society of Pakistan. Their life and property is not safe in Pakistan and Christians feel themselves unsecured and unsafe in Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The arrests of Christians under blasphemy laws, attack on churches and threat to their life is widely reported but establishment under Muslim majority has not stepped up to end Christian victimization. Mr. Nazir S Bhatti said that in prevailing situation the millions of Christians are looking forward to Chief Justice of Pakistan to take notice and act to end blasphemy laws and all other discriminatory laws in Pakistan. He appealed to Christians in Pakistan to organize seminars and rallies to highlight role of Christians in Independence of Pakistan on this Independence Day and to observe it as " Slavery Day" to invite attention of Supreme Court of Pakistan and Chief Justice Iftikhar Choudry to act on suo motto against all discriminatory laws in Pakistan.
