Chandigarh: February 13, 2018. (PCP) The campus of Guru Gobind Singh College for Women at Sector 26- Chandigarh echoed with melodious rendition of Gurbani Kirtan as the students and staff celebrated the College Founder’s Day.
The Three-day event was marked to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji. The kirtan was performed by Hajuri Raagi Bhai Sahib “Bhai Shaukeen Singh ji” and Gurmat Vichar were delivered by Singh Sahib Giani Balwinder Singh ji, who focused on the life of the tenth Sikh Guru and tenets of Sikhism.
S. Gurdev Singh Brar, President SES and Col.(Retd.) J.S. Bala , Secretary SES graced the occasion. Col. J.S.Bala appreciated the efforts of the Principal, Dr Charanjeet Kaur Sohi, along with the staff and students in successfully organizing the function.
It was followed by Guru ka Langar prepared and served by students and members of the staff.
