NPP joins national voice condemning brutal massacre of Amarnath Yatris

New Delhi: July 11, 2017. (PCP) Several meetings were held in Jammu and Kashmir, Indian capital, New Delhi and several other places in India condemning most brutal killings of six ladies and one male yatris in Kashmir while they returning after their visit to Shri Amarnath Cave yesterday. Panthers Party held a meeting at Jantar Mantar where several political and social activists participated condemning the human massacre in Jammu and Kashmir and demanding immediate intervention by the President of India under the authority he enjoys under Article 370 of the Constitution of India. Prof.Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of National Panthers Party who chaired the meeting at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi urged the President of India for his immediate intervention by advising the Governor of J&K to invoke Article 370 with Section 92 of the Constitution of J&K which provides the power to the Governor of J&K to dismiss Legislative Assembly under Section 53 of J&K Constitution and go for Governor Rule under Section 92 of J&K Constitution. Prof.Bhim Singh said that the Panthers Party held a meeting at Patna under the chairmanship of Mr. Tufan Singh, in Jaipur under the leader of Mr. Anil Sharma its State General Secretary, in Lucknow under the chairmanship of U.P. Panthers President, Khan Babur Jamshed, in Kolkatta the meeting was held under the chairmanship of Mrs. Bannerjee, in Dehradun under the chairmanship of Mr. S.N. Chandola, State President, in Chandigarh under the chairmanship of General Secretary, Mr. Ram Raj Singh. The reports are coming from Tamilnadu that meeting was held under the T.N. State President of Mr. Naresh Ambedkar. The meeting in New Delhi was addressed by Delhi State President, Mr. Rajiv Jolly Khosla, its Sr. Vice President, Mr. Romesh Khajuria, the General Secretary, Mr. Muzaffar Hussain Beg and others. The meeting was also held in Kashmir under the chairmanship of Kashmir Provincial President, Mr. Farooq Ahmed Dar. Others who participated included State Vice President, Masood Andrabi, State General Secretary, Mr. Manjoor Naik, several districts presidents. A meeting was also held in Uri & Tangdhar condemning the brutal killings of innocent yatris and demanded Governor Rule. Bandh was observed throughout Jammu province from Poonch to Kishtwar and Banihal to Kathua demanding immediate dismissal of BJP-PDP Govt. in the State which they said has totally collapsed and there is no security even for the police and security persons. Prof.Bhim Singh urged on the Prime Minister and the Union Home Minister to intervene today lest it may prove a disaster for national peace and security. He said that Prime Minister should not look for the interest of 10 RSS Ministers in J&K he should think of the interest of the entire country and its people. The only way out is dismissal of the Assembly followed by Governor Rule today.
