Kashmore Police killed reformist Gul Khan Bhayo 3 days after arrest

HYDERABAD: April 18, 2017. Farooq Khan Bhayo son of slain reformist Gul Khan Bhayo along with leaders of Sindh National Tehrik has accused Kashmore police of killing his father Gul Khan Bhayo 3 days after his arrest. Addressing news conference here Sunday Farooq told that his father had launched struggle against Wadera Shahi system prevailing in upper Sindh, raised voice for oppressed people and was working to eliminate tribal feuds which was claiming many innocent lives. He said police party led by SSP Kashmore Samiullah Soomro, DSP Abdul Hakim Mazari, CIA incharge Riaz Ahmed Bhutto and 3 SHOs of Kandhkot, Ghospur raided village Wahid Bux Bhayo at 4 night on 22 March and arrested Gul Khan Bhayo. They said thousands people of Bhaya community held protest demonstrations in Kashmore, Kandhkot, Ghospur and other towns but police instead of declaring his arrest forcibly disappeared him and killed him extra judicially 3 days after his arrest at Unarwah on 26 March. They said police instead had filed false cases on more than 200 people of Bhaya community. They made appeal to Sindh High Court Larkana bench, Supreme Court of Pakistan and chief minister Sindh to take notice of extrajudicial killing of Gul Khan Bhayo and to help end false cases on those who had held protests. They also made appeal to nationalist forces and human rights bodies and members of civil society to help join movement against Kashmore police for its terrorism. SNT condemned extra judicial killing of Gul Khan Bhayo at hands of Kashmore police who was working for reforming the tribal society and Wadera Shahi. Ashraf Noonari chairman of SNT demanded to arrest SSP Kashmore and other police officers involved in killing Gul Khan Bhayo extrajudicially , to suspend them and try them under terrorist act. SNT announced phase wise movement against Kashmore police. In this regard protest rallies will be taken out on 23 April at Hyderabad, 27 April at Badin, 30 April at Tando Muhammad Khan, on 2 May at Thatta and on 5 May at Larkana. Apart from rallies SNT would legal war will also be fought against terrorism of Kashmore police.
