Hyderabad: April 16, 2017. (PCP) Sindhi Sangat Sindh and Sindhi Nari Sangat Sindh protested against China-Pakistan economic corridor (CPEC), Zulfiqarabad City and other Anti-Sindh projects, Activists of Sindhi Sangat Sindhi and Sindhi Nari Sangat Sindh held rally in Hyderabad, Demonstrated in front of Hyderabad Press Club and chanted slogans against Zulfiqarabad and other Anti-Sindh projects. Responding to the central call given by the central chairman of Sindhi Sangat Sindh Mansoor Khaskheli activists of Sindhi Sangat Sindh and Sindhi Nari Sangat Sindh protested against China-Pakistan economic corridor (CPEC), Zufliqarabad City and other Anti-Sindh projects, activists of Sindhi Sangat Sindhi and Sindhi Nari Sangat Sindh held rally in Hyderabad, Demonstrate in front of Hyderabad Press Club and chanted slogans against Zufliqarabad and other Anti-Sindh projects. Addressing the crowed leaders of Sindhi Sangat Sindh and Sindhi Nari Sangat Sindh Ahmed Baloch, Danish Sindhi, Shahmeer Qambrani, Farzana Shah,Rizwana Memon and others said that more than half million Sindhis would be displaced with destruction of their villages due to new mega coastal city Zulfiqarabad in Thatta District. Zulfiqarabad project is against the interest of Sindh and based on converting Sindhis into minorities on their own motherland. Zufliqarabad project will result in displacement of thousands of indigenous Sindhi people from coastal villages, Zulfiqarabad isn’t a development but destruction, and it is a deep conspiracy to turn Sindhis into minority. So called development plans of China-Pakistan governments are mega plans to strengthen their grip over the resources and land of Sindh. Sindhi Sangat Sindh warned people of Sindh would never allow this conspiracy. Since the discovery of the most abundant reserves of natural resources and the presence of major ports that are the hubs of economic activity, Sindh continuously receiving a large number of non Sindhi settlers which has genuinely increase fears among Sindhis they would be turned into minority . Zulfiqarabad coastal Mega City is Anti-Sindh, Anti human and Anti-environmental project. We people of Sindh protest against it and demand Zulfiqarbad project must be stopped because it’s against Sindhi masses. The Zulfiqarabad is a proposed megacity that encompass the entire coastal area of Sindh spread over more than 5500 sq Km its being built with the help of China currently, no other megacity of this size exists in the world today. Zulfiqarabad coastal city and Gawader port cities are also not only against Sindhi and Baloch nations. It’s also against Gulf countries too. Sindhi People have not been consulted in CPEC process at all. The CPEC is a tool for geo strategic control which will eventually destabilize regional and global security. People of Sindh believe it’s a project that will further ruthlessly exploit their natural resources. We have serious concerns & reservations over the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. Through CPEC the exploitation of resources of Sindh will be rapidly increased and the indigenous population of Sindh will be turned into minority, the project of China-Pak Economic Corridor isn't beneficial to Sindh. Instead of solving the concerns of Sindhi and Baloch peoples over China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, state is trying to crush the peaceful protesters with its force and brutality. We demand stop construction of Zulfiqarabad and other Anti-Sindh projects because they're against the will of Sindhi nation. Sindhi people will not accept any conspiracy against their national existence.
