(PCP) A One day Workshop on “Applications of Alternative Channels In Banking Post Demonetization” was held at Guru Gobind Singh College for Women, Sector 26, Chandigarh by the RUSA Cell of the college. The role of Demonetization in the present economic scenario was the main focus for the discussion.
Prof. M.A Beg, Principal, Zakir Hussain College, Delhi, was the main speakers for the Day, who presented a detailed idea of Demonetization and how it can be seen as an aid to curb Black Money. The presentation was followed by an interactive session, wherein the students raised questions relevant to the topic. Beg also encouraged the students to become active contributors for the economic growth of the country.
