Bomb blast in Parachinar kill 25 and injuring over 50

Pakistan: January 21, 2017. (PCP) In vegetable market of Parachinar bomb blast killed 25 and injured over 50 on January 20, 2017, during market hours. It is third bomb blast in this vegetable of Parachinar by terrorists. The city of Parachinar has dominantly Shia Muslim community population bordering Afghanistan in KP province of Pakistan. The bomb blasted after a day when Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Nawaz Sharif and former Chief of Staff of Pakistan Army were declaring news in Switzerland Summit that back bone of terrorists is broken in Pakistan with military operation. The Christians, Ahmadiyya, Hindus and Shia communities are easy target of terrorists in Pakistan and recent bomb blast in Parachinar is grave challenge for security forces of Pakistan. According to Radio Pakistan, after recent blast, Information Minister reiterates government's commitment to eliminate terrorism. President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif have expressed their deep grief over loss of precious lives in the deadly blast. Expressing their condolences for the departed souls, they directed for urgent medical assistance to the injured. Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra also condemned the blast and sympathized with the bereaved families. Funeral prayer of the twenty-two martyrs of the blast was offered at Parachinar, Khurram Agency on Saturday evening. Inspector General of Frontier Corps Major General Shaheen Mazhar Mehmood, MNA Sajid Tori, Political Agent Khurram Ikram Ullah and a large number of people from different walks of life attended the mass funeral prayer.
