Chandigarh: January 17, 2017. (PCP) Two Workshops were organized by the RUSA Cell of the College in collaboration with the Psychology Department of Guru Gobind Singh College for Women, Sector-26, Chandigarh. These Workshops were held separately for the Non-Teaching and the Teaching Staff on 16.01.17 and 17.01.17 respectively.
The Resource Person for both the Workshops was Prof. Emeritus of Psychology, Jitendra Mohan, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
The Principal of the College Dr. Charanjeet Kaur Sohi welcomed the renowned Psychologist for the event.
The importance of Work Ethics was emphasized by Prof. J.Mohan, who talked about the Principles of Professional Conduct. Another essential element was the Teacher’s interaction with the students which he said, can be better accomplished by treating every student with respect.
The staff found the Workshop immensely beneficial and relevant to the Ethical environment of the present day workplace. Both the Workshops were followed by interactive sessions, wherein the staff members actively participated and provided their valuable insights into the matter.
