Chandigarh: January 13, 2017. (PCP) The Festival of Lohri was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Guru Gobind Singh College for Women, Sector-26, Chandigarh. The girls were traditionally dressed and danced around the bonfire to the tunes of Punjabi songs.
The spirit of the festival was kept alive as the students and the Teachers together sang the folk song- “Sundar Mundariye Tera Kaun Vichara”. The celebration ended with the distribution of traditional sweets among the students and the staff.
