Chandigarh: November 27, 2016. (PCP) Guru Gobind Singh College for Women, Sector-26, Chandigarh, organized an Alumni Meet in the college premises on November 27th, 2016. With a purpose to strengthen the bond between the Alumni and their Alma mater and to recreate the verve of the days gone by, the Alumni Association successfully brought together the Alumni from different fields under one roof.
Around 500 students revisited the campus and graced the occasion with their presence. Two alumni, Mrs. Satvinder Kaur, from 1975 batch and Mrs. Sukhjit Kaur, from 1976 Batch, were formally welcomed by the Principal Dr. Charanjeet Kaur Sohi.
A Cultural event was organized for the GGSCW Alumni, wherein they actively joined with other students and made the day memorable. The atmosphere was filled with an air of nostalgia as the students interacted with the faculty and their friends, also discussing their achievements and growth, which they owed to their Alma mater. The Ceremony was followed by Lunch and DJ Party.
