Lahore: October 31, 2016. (PCP) A seven-day landscape painting exhibition to showcase the work of renowned artist Misbahuddin Qazi will be inaugurated at the National College of Arts (NCA) on Tuesday (November 1, 2016). Mr. Qazi`s work includes paintings of the scenic beauty of twin cities from the Margalla Hills to the rural outskirts of the country. The artist, who retired from Pakistan National Council of the Arts as Director (Visual Arts), used oil paint on canvas to capture the various shades of green in the fields, trees and grass at different times of day.
"The exhibition offers an opportunity to see the country's scenic charm, beautiful valleys, green farms and multiple sides of the weather," he said, adding that the art exhibition would be his 31st Solo Show.
The exhibition will be formally inaugurated by the Principal NCA, Prof. Dr. Mutuza Jaffri on Tuesday, and open for public till November 7.
