Hyderabad: September 9, 2016. (PCP) Central chairman of the Sindhi Sangat Sindh Mansoor Khaskheli has strongly condemns bringing the ninth NFC award without fresh population census and termed it as injustice with Sindh. In a issued statement on Friday, the central chairman of the Sindhi Sangat Sindh Mansoor Khaskheli has said that Sindh contributes 70 per cent to the federal kitty but doesn’t get its share of the federal pool, an estimated 65 per cent of the Sindh’s population lives below the poverty line. Sindh is being discriminated by federation, only Sindh has the right over its resources, federation has no right to loot Sindh’s wealth. Punjab receives more from divisible pool against contribution in the total tax collection, while according to some statistics Sindh is able to receive hardly a very low share of award against its contribution of about 70% in the revenue collection. Central chairman of the Sindhi Sangat Sindh Mansoor Khaskheli has further said in the name of federation, the revenue generated from the resources of Sindh is being spent on the f Punjab. Sindh province is also deprived of its due share in the National Finance Commission (NFC) Award. Sindh has the great wealth in the shape of oil, gas, water and other mineral resources. For the past 69 years, in the name of federation, Punjab has been exploiting these resources of Sindh, whereas, Sindh is being kept deprived of its share. Chairman Sindhi Sangat Sindh Mansoor Khaskheli demanded that the continued process of looting the revenue generated from the Sindh must be stopped forthwith and the powers and resources of Sindh must be handed over to the Sindhi peoples.
