NPP pays homage to Rajiv Gandhi and Kashmiri leaders killed by militants

New Delhi: May 21, 2016. (PCP) Meeting of the National Panthers Party was held at its Headquarters at Jammu to condole the assassination of former Prime Minister of India, Shri Rajiv Gandhi in Tamilnadu, two prominent Kashmiri leaders namely Mirwais Moulana Farooq and Abdul Ghani Lone for assassinated on this day. Former Prime Minister, Shri Rajiv Gandhi was killed this day in 1991, Mirwais Moulvi Farooq was killed in 1992 and Abdul Ghani Lone in 2002. Prof.Bhim Singh reminded his colleagues and friends about his personal, affectionate and friendly relations with all the three of them, though Prof.Bhim Singh never shared his ideology with anyone of them. In a condolence message Prof.Bhim Singh said that Shri Rajiv Gandhi was a great living soul that could have blossomed into a rose with its fragrance for all the country men. Prof.Bhim Singh said that Mirwais and Lone were his personal friends, charming indeed and we the people of J&K lost a world with their loss. Prof.Bhim Singh and Shri Abdul Ghani Lone spent several months in Kashmir jail in 1984 when both were MLAs. Shri Lone was MLA of the Peoples Conference. Prof.Bhim Singh said that he had personal friendship with all the three leaders at different times and situations. Prof.Bhim Singh said that all the three of them were great humanist and friendly. All the three of them were killed by assassins giving a great message to the world that death is always sad and the bullets can solve no problem on earth.
