Chandigarh: March 12, 2016. (PCP) Farewell party was organized at Guru Gobind Singh College for Women, Sector 26, Chandigarh on March 12, 2016 to bid farewell to final year students of Arts, Commerce and Computer Science streams. The gala event included modeling by beautiful and graceful final year students. Setting the program in motion, the 2nd year students presented an array of dances, showcasing the wide multi-cultural canvas of the student population. Bhangra and Punjabi dance performers jolted the stage with vigorous steps and stirring high spirited music. The Western Dance and Haryanvi Dance shook the audience to totally an exciting mood.
Pratibha of BCOM II was declared MISS GGSCW followed by Palak of BCOM III as 1st RUNNER UP and Dhwanika of BCA III as 2nd RUNNER UP. Pakiza of BA III won the title of MISS CHARMING, while Mehak of MCOM II was MISS CONFIDENT. Principal, Dr. Charanjeet Kaur Sohi advised the students to strike a balance between their personal and professional life, as today’s women have to be versatile.
