New Delhi: March 5, 2016. (PCP) “P.A. Sangma was one of the greatest Indians who was bestowed capacity, talent, courage and humanism by the grace of God. His sudden death in New Delhi has shocked many of his old friends, colleagues as his absence from Indian political scene shall cause a great loss to the present and future political history of the country. He can be described star of the North-East where he was born and educated.” Prof. Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of National Panthers Party met P.A. Sangma in 1973 and had privilege to work in the Secretariat of the Indian Youth Congress with Mr. Sangma for long. Prof. Bhim Singh reminded his friends about the greatness of Mr. Sangma who had wisdom, courage and commitment with the people particularly in the rural India. Prof. Bhim Singh in his tributes to his one of the great friends in life paid tributes to Mr. Sangma on his untimely, unfortunate and unexpected death saying that with the sudden death of the STAR from the North-East, India has lost one of the greatest sons when the entire nation needed him most. Prof. Bhim Singh recollected his days with Mr. Sangma from 1973 till this day. Prof. Bhim Singh said that Mr. Sangma was one of the greatest friends in life and his death has caused heavy loss to India and the people shall always keep him in mind. Prof. Bhim Singh and the working committee of National Panthers Party paid rich tributes to the departed soul with a prayer that Mr. Sangma shall be blessed with peace in the heaven.
