Hearing at West London Magistrates' Court: MQM
London: February 27, 2016. (PCP) Representatives of MQM have attended the West London Magistrates’ Court on 26th February 2016 as part of the ongoing civil claim by the Metropolitan Police service regarding MQM party funds currently in their possession. Both MQM and Mr Altaf Hussain stress that the funds in the possession of the police are entirely legitimate.
Mr Nadeem Nusrat, Convenor of MQM said, "I am confident that the money will be returned to MQM by the court."
Due to the ongoing proceedings it would be inappropriate for the party to comment further at this stage.
