Lahore: December 24, 2015. (PCP) After threats to Christians of Youhanabad of attacks during Christmas, the Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Shahbaz Sharif on Wednesday has ordered foolproof security arrangements on the occasions of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) and Christmas. He said that we can succeed in this world and the world hereafter by following the teachings of the Holy Prophet.
In a note, he said: "I extend warm greetings to the Muslim brethren on the occasion of Milad- un - Nabi the birthday of Prophet Mohammad".
"Our Prophet gave us all the highest standards of teachings that can be required and also demonstrated all that through his acts".
"That is why the life of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) is described as the model of Qur'an, that has complete guidance and dictates for the Ummah", he added.
Vendors have established stalls at every nook and corner, offering banners, badges, stickers and flags inscribed with the slogans paying respect and reverence to the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
He said, "the birth of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) is like the spring showers for the dying mankind and the faded orchard of humans".
The Chief Minister said by following in the footsteps of the Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) we can create an Ideal Society.
