Sialkot: Chairman of the Pakistan Christian Awareness Movement Dr. Emanuel Adil Ghouri in a statement that the detailed decision given by former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Tassaduq Hussain Jilani, taking suo motu notice after the Peshawar church attack, for the rights of minorities in 2014 is a comprehensive plan for the rights of minorities. If this decision had been implemented, many other unpleasant incidents, including the Jada Nawala tragedy, could have been avoided.
Even today, there is a need to implement this decision to protect the rights of minorities and eliminate the feeling of insecurity among them.
He further said that the government is constitutionally bound to implement the Supreme Court's decision, but the government does not move unless it is forced to do so. Unfortunately, since 2014, no minority political and social party has approached the esteemed court to implement the decision.
