Lahore: (Report by Dr. Adil Ghouri) A delegation of the European Union, under the leadrship of Sébastien Lorion met Punjab Provincial Minister Ramash Singh in which they discussed the problems of minorities and their solution.It should be noted that the largest population of Pakistani Christians is about 2.6 million in this province.
Punjab Assembly that eight out of 10 minority members are Christians, not a single Christian member of the assembly was included in this meeting related to the rights of minorities.
In the last two years, most of the incidents of persecution, injustice and forced conversion of Christians happened in this province.UNO and EU delegations that want to work for minority rights should make it possible to meet with Christian social leaders instead of just meeting with government officials so that they know the real situation
