Mandi Bahauddin: (By Sher Gondal)  In a statement, Major Sher Muhammad Gondal President Pakistan Ex-Servicemen Society Mandi Bahauddin has paid tributes to the Chairman Standing Committee and Postal Services MNA Haji Imtiaz Ahmed Chaudhry for venting out his frustration over ongoing corruption and maleficence of district administration mainly revenue and police departments.

In a recent meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan in Lahore, Chaudhry Imtiaz clearly told the PM there were unabated corruption and bribe culture gripping the district departments. What to talk of the general public, the officers do not pay any heed even to MNAs and MPAs to solve their genuine problems. PMLQ has a strong grip over the district and the heads of government departments act on the directions of its representatives and their cronies. Imtiaz further told the PM that no development project had been executed in his constituency. All projects were being given to PML Q.

He went further and brought to the notice of the PM that public problems were not attended and solved by the concerned departments. Revenue courts take decades to dispose of even small matters like land partition and correction of wrong entries in the revenue records. He said corruption is on the rise and there is no hope for its end under the prevailing circumstances.

He demanded transparent delivery of service from government departments and judicious and need-based development funds for each constituency of this district. Major Sher said ex-servicemen of the district have greatly appreciated the bold stance taken by Ch Imtiaz and they vowed to stand with a brave and upright person like him.
