Ex-servicemen reiterate to stand firm with Kashmiris

Mandi Bahauddin: (PCP) Pakistan Ex-Servicemen Society (PESS) organized a rally here at College Chowk to observe Kashmir Solidarity Day.

Retired soldiers across the district participated. Post Graduate College students also joined the rally along with the Principal Mian Muhammad Akram.

The principal in his speech condemned Indian forces for turning Indian occupied part of Kashmir into jail and committing atrocities against the Kashmiri nationals.

He said this was the time to take practical steps to resolve Kashmir issues according to UN Security Council by allowing Kashmiri nationals to exercise their right to self-determination. Speaking on the occasion PESS leaders condemned Indian forces violating human rights in Kashmir.

They said Indian held Kashmir continues under siege August 1919 and Indian soldiers ruthlessly killing and subjecting innocent Kashmiris to all sorts of torcher. Kashmir is burning but all world leaders are silent. It appears their conscious is dead. They called on world leaders, human rights organizations including UNO to take notice of ongoing oppression, killing and violation of human and force India to stop genocide of Kashmiri Muslims.

They paid tributes Kashmiri freedom fighters for their determination and fighting spirit while continuing the freedom movement. Ex-servicemen unanimously reiterated that they stood firm with Kashmiris shoulder-to shoulder in their fight to liberate Kashmir.
