New Delhi: September 23, 2019. (PCP) “It was the first international event when the Prime Minister of the largest democracy-India launched election campaign for re-election of US President, Mr. Donald Trump during his Houston storm speech at nearly midnight of Indian Standard Time. What a great announcement from Houston, USA, ‘Abki Bar Trump Sarkar’ that the Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi made in the morning hours of Houston as if it was as a great Indian Astrologer was making this statement for the reminder of the whole world as well as the Headquarters of the United Nations in New York.” NPP Supremo & Founder of J&K National Panthers Party issued the statement from New Delhi, the capital of India.
Prof.Bhim Singh who himself travelled on two-wheels for five years on peace mission around the world from 1967 to 1973 and had reached Houston, a large metropolis in Texas (USA), home to the renowned Houston Grand Opera, and the Historic District, with 19th-century architecture and upscale restaurants. In his welcome address in English, the Indian Prime Minister welcomed Mr. Donald Trump, the youthful President of United States of America representing the Republican Party in the Presidential election. The over one-hour speech Indian Prime Minister made in Hindi after US President Mr. Donald Trump finished his nearly an hour bombasting speech. Interestingly, the Indian Prime Minister carried nowhere the message which India has been delivering to the people of the USA right from Swami Vivekanand till Rajiv Gandhi on Indian culture, message of peace and non-alignment. Modi’s speech was one of his best election campaigns and he carried the day as if he was addressing massive rally of the Indian-American electorates to campaign for Presidential candidate in the USA. The Indian audience must have enjoyed the expression of the Indian Prime Minister.
Hundreds of calls have been pouring from different parts of the country, political friends and even critics seeking comment on the great election speech of the Indian Prime Minister that he made from a public platform in Houston in the presence of the President of USA, Mr. Donald Trump and several members of the Senate and the Congress sitting in front of a large stage packed by over 50,000 Indian electorates in the USA.
It is not possible to answer multiple and complicated questions of the friends and critics from Indian political parties but the NPP Supremo answered all in one go. The Indian Prime Minister during his fantastic speech in Hindi forgot to mention even the great Indian missionaries like Swami Vivekanand and Ram Tirath who successfully campaigned for dharma (duty) and consciousness during their visits to United States of America. It was Vivekanand who changed the wording written on a plate outside the house which had fixed on the wall, ‘God is nowhere’. It was Indian saint who while walking out of door moved his pen and gently put a dash after ‘no’. The ethist noble came out and read that Indian saint had changed it to ‘God is now here’. This change the winds and the ethist fraternity converted to moral science. The Indian Prime Minister failed even to refer Vivekanand & Ram Tirath and their contributions to establish a human relationship between India and the people of USA.
2. Besides, India was a great visionary and missionary who carried the message of world peace and human rights from the East to the West. Even in Islam it is said that Prophet Mohammed once experienced that cool breeze is coming from the East. (Masrak se sard hawayein aa rahi hain). Our leadership forgot the cool breeze that they were carrying from India to the West.
3. Non-alignment which was initiated from Tashkent in 1955 by India and China carrying the message of non-interference into the domestic affairs of the neighbourers could not reach the Houston Ground where the Indian Prime Minister had a great opportunity to make unlimited speech in the presence of the President of the USA. May be India lost an opportunity to convey the message of non-alignment, world peace and complete disarmament to ensure safety and security of the globe. The Indian Prime Minister, perhaps, failed to convey the India’s great initiative for world peace and non-alignment.
4. India was one of the propounders of non-aligned movement, supported world peace movement and supported the movement for complete disarmament. India has been one of the world famed nations where word ‘secularism’ was introduced into the preamble of Indian Constitution. India’s leaders who led the freedom movement for nearly 100 years had for freedom together irrespective of their religions, castes or even region. This is the Constitution. The Indian listeners who attended Prime Minister Modi’s Houston storm have more questions in their minds about the performance of the Indian Prime Minister when he had a great opportunity which no Indian Prime Minister could ever get in a foreign land and that too United States of America where rule of law is supreme and natural justice is delivered from the doors of the judiciary.
Prof.Bhim Singh congratulated the Prime Minister of India but shared the feelings of millions people of India that the Prime Minister missed the opportunity to convey the India’s message of human love, respect for democracy and command of the rule of law. Where was the great movement, ‘non-alignment’ that India carried for half a century with a message of peaceful coexistence, respect for human glory, non-interference into the affairs of neighbouring countries and human love---no guns, no bombs, no wars and rest for human dignity.
