New Delhi: September 28, 2015. (PCP) NPP Supremo Prof.Bhim Singh, Sr. Advocate of Supreme Court and internationally known as human rights activist accused Prime Minister Modi for the CBI raids on the house/houses of H.P. Chief Minister, Raja Virbhadra Singh at a time when he was holding ceremony of the wedding of his daughter in Shimla. Prof.Bhim Singh said that this was a matter of shame that CBI raid was conducted to humiliate and denigrate a family which has been serving its people for centuries with highly credible record. It was 5th term of Raja Virbhadra Singh to take over as Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh through the power of the ballot as it happens in democracy. Prof.Bhim Singh said that India is known all over the world as a unique symbol of civilization and its cultural heritage. Sending a raiding party in the morning hours when Chief Minister was walking to a temple in connection with the wedding of his daughter and asking him to vacate the house to conduct the raid, of course, at the pleasure of the Prime Minister who controls the rein of the CBI. Another interesting feature that FIR against Raja Virbhadra Singh was invented and filed only 24 hours before conducting the raid knowing well that wedding of the CM daughter was being solemnized. Prof.Bhim Singh also accused Prime Minister Modi for his undesirable speech in San Jose (California) where he was addressing Indian-American President’s taking the audience as a rally in Bihar polls. Forgetting that he represents one of the greatest civilizations of the world where cultural values are never compromised. “Accusing, slandering or condemning his political opponents on foreign soil (USA) with mala fide intention to malign, disgrace and accuse the leaders and their relatives without substantial prove in its support speaks volumes about the Prime Minister’s political accuman and depth itself.” Prof.Bhim Singh said in his statement. The NPP Supremo said that during his five years globetrotting on motorcycle he must have addressed over 1000 meetings and functions all over the world. He felt, movement he stepped out India, that he is the ambassador of India’s culture and civilization so he did not utter a single word on the internal affairs of India though he had suffered jails, tortures, expulsions and what not. He said the Prime Minister of India was supposed to represent India’s great culture and civilization and voice its unique contribution towards world peace, disarmament and its efforts for mutual co-existence to make world more peace loving and tolerant. His speech in San Jose was highly deplorable, not acceptable and deserves to be condemned by the media, intellectuals, historians and diplomats. Prof.Bhim Singh called on all units of the Panthers Party all over the country to expose the Prime Minister’s remarks and observation made in the absence of the opposition parties and that too in a foreign/friendly country, the USA.
