Mandi Bahauddin: March 28, 2019. (Sher Gondal) Free medical camp was organized in Fauji Foundation Model School here the other day. Medical team of Fauji Foundation comprised male and female doctors carried out general medical checkup and examination of eyes and teeth of every student.
The team also checked cleanliness and hygiene of the students and those suffering from minor ailments were treated and provided free medicines. Speaking on the occasion, Principal of the school Major retired Azmat Beg said purpose of holding medical camps was to provide basic healthcare to the students and create awareness among them about the importance of personal hygiene.
Secondly the camps provide access to healthcare for those students who may not otherwise receive care. He said good physical and mental health and good nutrition all impact how students learn.
