Chandigarh: August 10, 2018. (PCP) Guru Gobind Singh College for Women, Sector 26, Chandigarh, today held its inaugural function in Mata Ganga Auditorium, to seek the blessings of the Almighty for the new academic session. On this occasion Shabad Kirtan was recited.
The Principal, Dr. Jatinder Kaur, extended a formal welcome to the freshers. She shed light on the importance of the college motto 'Shubh Karman Te Kabhun Na Taron' and urged the students never to deviate from the path of truth and righteousness.
The Principal emphasized the importance of upholding the teachings of the Sikh Gurus in our day-to-day life, while motivating the students to strive for excellence in academics and extracurricular activities.
