Indian American Christians have failed to mobilize the US-establishment to protect the religious freedom of the Christians in India. By Hem Raj Jain

In India at Raipur in the State of Chhatisgarh., Bareilly, in the State of Uttar Pradesh and Nalbari in the State of Assam Christian decorations (done for Christmas) were attacked & disturbed even in the presence and knowledge of police as reported at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5NNo6d1dxjk and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BK_CIXpilQg and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8WhonrpQJg8 and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tQEpk00Z6Io and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7vRkYpSUqCg and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y-ORRZNW8xQ and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AYHamnl-k3o
In all these three States the government is of BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) of Hindutva forces led by Prime Minister Modi [who would convert secular India into ‘Hindu Rashtra’ (a Hindu theocratic State) in obedience to his ideological guide RSS which wants Hindu Rashtra as https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aOZql3cqTWA ] . But it is only one part of the story. THe other part of the story is that such incidences could happen because:-
(i)- Indian Christians who are in the USA have failed to mobilize the US-establishment (US President, US SEcretary of State, US Embassy & Consulates in India, US-Congress, USCIRF Etc) to do something effective which will stop attacks on Christianity in India because such attacks are against the constitutionally guaranteed fundamental rights of religious freedom of the Christians in India.
(ii)- The religious leaders of Christiniaty in India (Clergy of Churches etc) are less interested in spreading the message of Jesus Christ and more interested in acquiring land, landed properties and other wealths for Churches.
(iii)- The global leadership of Christianity in the West including at the Rome (the Vatican) dont take the attack on Christianity and Christians seriously even in the case of more serious attacks like genocide as happened at Kandhmal in 2008. Rather they are happy that faith is growing despite such genocide as reported at https://www.vaticannews.va/en/church/news/2019-08/india-kandhamal-odisha-christian-persecution-anniversary-barwa-m.html .
Therefore it will be interesting to see whether this time Indian Christianity through Indian American Christians & US-Christianity will be able to do something effective which will stop such attacks on Christianity in India in future especially when such attacks are against the constitutionally guaranteed fundamental rights of religious freedom of the Christians in India.
