India should realize that the territorial integrity of India may come under threat if the “friendly-to -India-government of Sheikh Hasina” is not re-installed in Bangla Desh.

If Situation in Bangla Desh (B.D.) is increasingly becoming anti-India (where recently a Hindu has been burnt alive as reported at https://indianexpress.com/article/world/hindu-man-beaten-to-death-tied-tree-set-on-fire-in-Bangla DEsh-mymensingh-10428165/ ) and if this anti-India sentiments in Bangla Desh is discussed in mainstream media as at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fkb0C0CiqlE then India itself is to be blamed for such a sorry state of affairs in Bangla Desh because in the first place India foolishly facilitated the removal of former PM Sheikh Hasina from Dhaka and then didn’t try to re-establish the govt of Sheikh Hasina in Bangla Desh as mentioned in my article https://mail.pakistanchristianpost.com/exclusive-reports-details/336 .

But now the situation has gone from bad to worse because the desire of Bangla Desh of separating 7 States of North-East of India for making part of Bangla Desh is again being expressed during incumbent regime of the Chief Advisor of Bangla Desh Government (CABDG) Yunus (as reported at https://timesofislamabad.com/18-Dec-2025/Bangla DEsh-key-ncp-leader-threatens-india-s-seven-sisters-severance#google_vignette ) moreover given the fact that such desire was expressed by CABDG Yunus himself when he went to China (as reported at https://www.indiatoday.in/world/story/Bangla DEsh-muhammad-yunus-indias-northeast-states-seven-sisters-bid-to-lure-chinese-investments-xi-jinping-2701830-2025-03-31 ).

This desire of Bangla Desh to get 7 sisters from India may take serious turn in the present scenario where former PM Sheikh Hasina is in India and has already been awarded death sentence by a tribunal in Bangla Desh (as reported at https://indianexpress.com/article/explained/explained-global/sheikh-hasina-sentenced-to-death-what-happens-now-10370619/ ) hence Bangla Desh is demanding that India should handover  Sheikh Hasina to Bangla Desh (as reported at https://economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/india/Bangla DEsh-asks-india-to-hand-over-hasina-former-minister-kamal/articleshow/125385026.cms ) .

But when India is not handing-over Sheikh Hasina to Bangla Desh then it can be used by anti- India forces in Bangla Desh  to arouse  anti-India sentiments to such a level where substantial population of Bangla Desh may be instigated to demand from Bangladesh government ( with the military help of China) of Punishing  India by separating the said 7 States of North-East of India.

The situation in Bangla Desh has acquired much serious proportions because the Islamic elements / forces  in Bangla DEsh (Jamat-e -Islami and its allies) are thinking of again making Bangla Desh as East Pakistan with the support of Pakistan as mentioned at https://www.timesnownews.com/world/asia/is-Bangla DEsh-turning-into-east-pakistan-again-1971-ghosts-return-amid-military-coup-fears-article-151759660 and https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2025/9/2/why-pakistan-is-rushing-to-mend-fences-with-Bangla DEsh .

Therefore India, as usual,  can not afford to be passive spectator of what is happening in Bangla Desh and instead should do the following without any further delay :-

(1)- India should ask rather constrain Sheikh Hasino to urgently form her government in exile in India and then India should try militarily to install the government of Sheikh Hasina in Bangla Desh.

(2)- After Sheikh Hasina thus acquires power in Bangla Desh India should ask her (i)- To lift the ban on her party (which was banned as https://www.dw.com/en/Bangla DEsh-bans-ousted-pms-awami-league-under-terrorism-law/a-72504120 ) so that she and her party can contest the election and (ii)- TO appeal in SUpreme Court of Bangla DEsh against her death sentence with prayer to waive -off the limitation along with  other necessary prayers.

(3)- India should provide adequate (in whatever numbers) of military and police-administration including election commission staff to the Sheikh Hasina government for carrying out free & fair elections in Bangla Desh.

(4)- India should be prepared to carry out all the above three measures without expecting much help from the USA because (i)- Presently Prez TRump is not so friendly with his ‘friend’ PM Modi as https://apnews.com/article/india-us-modi-trump-tariffs-relationship-575af0f270713fa6b09f4ed4e2848f21 and (ii)- CABDG Yunus is perceived to be a man of the USA as https://www.businesstoday.in/india/story/americans-have-got-their-man-in-office-expert-as-muhammad-yunus-agreed-to-be-chief-advisor-to-interm-govt-in-bangladesh-440370-2024-08-06 . But India can take heart from the fact that whatever may be the present state of Indo-US Relations the leader of free world the USA will never tolerate / allow the dismemberment (by way of separation of the said 7 sisters that too with the military help of authoritarian China )  of the largest secular democracy of the world, the nuclear India

The government of PM Modi should realize that the territorial integrity of India is at stake hence it doesn’t have the option of, as usual,  remaining a passive spectator of what is happening in Bangla Desh.  Therefore India should urgently & militarily ensure free & fair elections in Bangla Desh with “Awami league / Sheikh Hasina” too entitled to contest the elections.
