Though the leader of the free world, the USA has not reacted appropriately  but the opposition in India (Mainly the Indian National Congress, the INC) should move first the ECI and then the SCI (if necessary) to get the national voter list published on ECI website for scrutiny / investigation to protect democracy in India as explained below:-  

(1)- It has become almost a fashion among the people, political leaders, think tanks and establishment of the USA to brand / call the USA as the champion of rule based global order (especially after invasion of Ukraine by Russia in 2022) and the leader of the free world but there is nothing far from the truth. The fact of the matter is that the USA is now increasingly failing on both these counts. On the first count (that is the champion of rule based global order) the USA almost behaved as a rogue State when it supported US-supported Jun 12 attack by Israel on Iran and then the USA Itself attacked Iran on June 21 by taking an untenable excuse that Iran was on the verge of making nukes though this  claim was denied by Tulsi Gabbard the Director  of US National Intelligence  (https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/americas-spies-say-iran-wasnt-building-a-nuclear-weapon-trump-dismisses-that-assessment ) and also by IAEA Chief, Rafael Grossi (https://www.defensemirror.com/news/39701/IAEA_Chief_Admits_No_Evidence_of_Iranian_Nuclear_Weapons ) .  

(2)- As far as the second boast namely the leader of the free world every one knows that democracy is the sine-quo-non for the free world but the US President Trump has not uttered a single word though on the democracy in India (the largest democracy of the world) serious doubts are being raised and if the allegation levelled by the leader of Opposition (LoOP) Rahul Gandhi are true / correct.  

(3)- This refers to press conference (https://www.msn.com/en-in/news/India/elections-choreographed-huge-criminal-fraud-by-election-commission-rahul-gandhi/ar-AA1K5LgV ) by LoOP Rahul Gandhi where he has exposed the electoral fraud in one Parliamentary constituency of Karnataka, India. This raises serious doubts about the entire election process of 543 Lok Sabha seats of Indian Parliament which brought PM Modi in power as Prime Minister of India. Therefore  in the interest to get clarified the legitimacy of democracy / government in India the largest democracy of the world,  Prez Trump  being the President of the USA (The so-called leader of free world) was expected to  issue a statement that India should publish (as demanded by the LoOP though for longer period ) the electoral list of 543 seats of Lok Sabha election 2024 on the website of the Election Commission of India so that the opposition can get scrutinized (including by approaching the High / Supreme Court for constituting SIT on it) whether such electoral fraud happened in other Lok Sabha constituencies too ? 

(4)- Prez Trump should have  further said that this above mentioned  is important otherwise the rest of the free world (including the USA) will have serious doubts about the legitimacy of the democracy in India in general and about the legitimacy of the present Parliament of India and about  the present government of India in particular, to the extent that many countries may refuse to even recognize PM Narendra Modi as legitimately elected prime minister of India as is said even by some senior journalists and political analysts in India that - “in view of such large scale electoral “dhandhali” (fraud)  the legitimacy & credibility of the central government is under question (as discussed at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XrMQp2ipH0U ) and in other media as at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUPwV27_nrs and

(5)- But when the so-called leader of free world the USA is not concerned about the democracy in India there is no reason why the opposition in India (Mainly the Indian National Congress, the INC) should not  move first the ECI and then the SCI (if necessary) to get the national voter list published on ECI website for scrutiny / investigation to protect democracy in India . 

(6)- THough the senior Supreme Court Advocate KapilSibal has ridiculed (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yJK-e_RMZYs ) the demand of Chief Electoral Officer from Rahul Gandhi to file complaint with affadavit(on oath) https://www.newindianexpress.com/states/karnataka/2025/Aug/07/karnataka-chief-electoral-officer-hits-back-at-rahul-gandhi-asks-details-of-allegations-in-writing  but there is difference between legal matter and political matter. 

(7)- Hence Rahul Gandhi should immediately file complaint about the said electoral fraud with affidavit (without making it an ego issue)  in the Election Commission of India (ECI) with a prayer that the voter list of the entire country (of all the 543 Lok Sabha seats) should immediately be published on the website of the ECI so that the opposition (Including the INC) can scrutinize /investigate  these whether similar fraud has happened in the other  542 Lok Sabha seats also. 

(8)- If the ECI does not do so then the opposition (mainly the INC) should move the Supreme Court of India (SCI) with a prayer that the SCI ought to ordered the ECI (i)- To  publish the digitized / electronic voter list of the entire country (of all the 543 Lok Sabha seats) on the website of the ECI so that the opposition (Including the INC) can scrutinize /investigate  these to find whether similar fraud has happened in the other  542 Lok Sabha seats also  (ii)- To give at least one month to the opposition to complain to the ECI if there is any irregularity / fraud is found by them in any of these voter list (iii)- To order fresh election (after getting new voter list prepared) for all the 543 Lok Sabha seats in case considerable irregularities / fraud is found (with the help of the opposition including the INC) in these voter list by the ECI in majority of the constituencies all cross India or in constituencies which may  change / finish  the majority of government in Lok Sabha . 

(9)- For some, the fresh election for all the 543 Lok Sabha seats and legally expected punishment to culprits for the said electoral fraud may seem to be an over & harsh reaction / remedy but it is the most effective way of desisting and deterring any constitutional authority or institution from crossing the red-line in future.   

(10)- Though Rahul Gandhi can get the national voter list from the ECI by one more method. Rahul Gandhi from a public meeting in Bengaluru has asked Karnataka Govt (of his party) to initiate criminal proceedings against the culprits of the said electoral fraud  which happened in Mahadevpura constituency of Central Bengaluru https://www.thehindu.com/news/national/karnataka/vote-adhikar-rally-congress-protest-bengaluru-vote-theft-live-updates-august-8-2025/article69908466.ece and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sz7eZQZaDt0 ) . Hence if a F.I.R. is registered in the police station of  Mahadevpura then the Investigation officer (IO) can go to ECI office at Delhi and search (under search warrant issued by court in Bengaluru) & seize the relevant documents (Including national voter list etc) and bring it to Bengaluru where it can be filed in the said court from where many (Like NGOs, social activists, political parties including Congress ) can get its certified copy. But it may not happen because the Modi government at Centre under which police of Delhi comes may create hurdles in the path of the IO of Karnataka police in seizing documents from ECI office at Delhi  (and may even harass this IO) therefore the approach as suggested above of moving  first the ECI and then the SCI is the preferred remedy.  

Therefore it is hoped that in the interest of protecting democracy in the largest democracy of the world, India the opposition in India (mainly the INC) shall  move first the ECI and then the SCI (as mentioned above) to get the national voter list published on ECI website for scrutiny / investigation if there was any electoral fraud at national level during 2024 Lok Sabha election.
