Before attacking civilians of Pakistan, the Modi government should know they are citizens of “Akhand Bharat' By Hem Raj Jain
Though as a tit for tat India has also tried to attack the cities in Pakistan as repoted at https://www.india.com/news/world/india-pakistan-war-india-counterattack-causes-massive-destruction-in-pakistan-emergency-declared-in-20-cities-reports-7808967/ but in doing so government of India (GoI) of Hindutva forces the BJP led by PM Modi has forgotten that these civilians of Pakistan are citizens of Akhand Bharat the dream project of Hindutva forces (https://thefederal.com/category/news/kashmir-speech-did-amit-shah-invoke-akhand-bharat-narrative-165028 ) who want India (which was partitioned in 1947 on the basis of religion) to be re-united which is nothing but the political unity of SAARC Countries as federation of member countries. .
Though there are other countries too in SAARC but the most important is Pakistan as for as materializing Akhand Bharat is concerned hence Modi government should know that present Indo-Pak war is the golden opportunity to materialize Akhand Bharat but it is easier said than done for the simple reason that Muslims of Pakistan and Bangladesh were living with the Hindus of undivided India before partition in 1947 but they could not live together that is why partition happened hence a question arises that how will they live again peacefully in Akhand Bharat.
But this problem is not as insurmountable as it looks on the surface. PM modi can ensure proper law & order in Akhand Bharat if he does the 6 things as mentioned below:-
(1)- First and foremost PM Modi should give respect to Muslims too as he gives to Hindus and should not say or believe in future as he did in the past where he said that all Indian Muslims are illegal immigrants the “Ghuspethiye” as reported also at
https://www.abc.net.au/news/2024-04-24/indian-pm-narendra-modi-accused-of-hate-speech/103760810 . In other words PM Modi should try to realize secular “Akhand Bharat” and not communal “Hindu Rashtra” . Of course in secular Akhand Bharat there can’t be bulldozer injustice to Muslims as has been done in the past as repoted at https://apnews.com/article/religion-india-arrests-islam-narendra-modi-5310432fcdb614beb92d4d195fa19539
(2)- India was partitioned because political leaders of undivided iNdia thought (in the wake of horrible communal riots) that Hindus and Muslims can’t live together but Effective Human Rights Commission at State & District level alongwith adequate security forces readily available to enforce human rights and Efficacy (proper implementation) of section 130 and 131 Cr.P.C. will be important tools for maintaining peace and proper law & order in Akhand Bharat
(3)- Without winning the trust of Indian Muslims and Pakistan Army, the Modi government can’t realize Akhand Bharat which PM MOdi can easily do if the GoI handles the on-going Indo-Pak war wisely and also by winning the confidence of separatists in Pakistan. As far as winning the most important province of Pakisan, Punja the Modi government can do it if uses the Sikh community of Indian Pujab without overly suspecting the practically non-existent Khalistan elements in Punjab and in some foreign countries.
(4)- In the interest of achieving the Hindu- Muslim goodwill & solidarity the rehabilitation of 5 Lakh Kashmiri Pandits in Valley will provide important clues for Hindu- Muslim solidarity THis the GoI can do easily if listens to legitimate demands of Displaced Kahmiri Pandits (DKPs) especially about their safety, security and job opportunities at placed where they will be rehabilitated in the valley. This rehabilitation of the DKPs will become much easier if BJP (ruling at centre) can persuade the National conference (ruling in J&K) to properly discharge its responsibility of mobilizing its party cadre to help in maintaining proper law order for DKPs in areas where they will be rehabilitated.
(5)- AS far as PoJK is concerned India should stop playing over-smart (where it has been saying all along that United J&K is an integral part of India as per IoA) and instead should go for referendum in united J&k by giving three choices (as mentioned at https://www.pakistanchristianpost.com/opinion-details/4576 ) as by giving three choices to the people of united J&K (i)- Join India as one of its State (ii)- Join Pakistan as one of its State (iii)- Join as an independent country the FSDSSAARC (Federation of Secular Democratic Socialist SAARC countries) led by India. Where socialism is nothing but profitable deployment of State capital in the interest of the Welfare State.
(6)- Last but not the least two things will be crucial in materializing Akhand Bharat (i)- Cooperation of other elements of Hinduism (namely Sikhism, Buddhism and Jainism as per article 25 of Indian Constitution) with Hinduism rather ‘Santatan Dharma’ as they now prefer to call it and (ii)- Enterprising spirit of united Hinduism especially for converting people to any element of Hinduism in the USA, the country where Indian diaspora is over 5 million strong and quite powerful and which will be crucial in realizing Akhand Bharat. Therefore the Modi government should encourage rather facilitate all the elements of Hinduism to start the activities, as per laws of the USA, to convert the willing part of the population of the USA to any element of Hinduism [may be by involving the Americans though US- Human Rights NGOs patronized by some element of Hinduism) in the rehabilitation of the DKPs]. .
It is hoped PM Modi will endeavor to materiale “AKhand Bharat” which he can do by using the on-going Indo-Pak war cleverly and which he ought to do if he wants to leave a legacy worth the name.
