When QUAD 2025 meeting is scheduled in coming September (https://www.republicworld.com/india/big-breaking-trump-to-visit-india-for-2025-quad-summit-say-white-house-sources ) it is natural that presently the Trump-administration must be busy in formulating strategy to rope-in India in anti-China military alliance through amended QUAD as mentioned at https://www.wionews.com/world/us-trying-to-convert-quad-into-military-bloc-india-fully-aware-russias-lavrov-8621142/ .

But Prez Trump will be well advised to refrain from such policy because it may anger China to the extent that China may try to  even dismember  India  (a very important friend of the USA) as explained below:-

(1)- Presently the Indian State is in a very weak and difficult situation. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamta Benerjee has publicly threatened that she will prefer to go to prison or even shot dead but (A)- she will not implement in toto the Supreme Court (which has plenary powers under Article 141, 142 and 144 of the Constitution) order in ‘teacher recruitment controversy’ matter (as reported at https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/kolkata/i-can-even-be-jailed-for-saying-this-mamata-banerjee-meets-sacked-west-bengal-teachers-says-unable-to-accept-sc-verdict/articleshow/120056955.cms ) and (B)- She will not implement centre’s law of Waqf Amendment Act 2025 (as reported at https://economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/politics-and-nation/waqf-amendment-act-not-to-be-implemented-in-bengal-mamata-banerjee/articleshow/120121905.cms ) 

(2)-  The - Modi government is not taking constitutionally / legally expected action  (for sedition under section 124-A of I.P.C. and under Article 356 of the Constitution of India ) against such audacious effrontery of Indian State by CM Mamta because PM Modi seems to  be  afraid that the arrest of Mamata will not only cause huge even violent unrest in West Bengal especially given the fact that Vidhan sabha elections in WEst Bengal are very near in 2026 and due to Waqf Amendement Act 2025 the Muslims are quite agitated in WEst Bengal as reported at  https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/kolkata/protests-erupt-in-kolkata-against-waqf-amendment-bill/articleshow/119974934.cms ).   

(3)- Given the fact that there were only 23 % Muslims in pre partition India and they could force partition of India and now there are 30% Muslims in WEst Bengal (along with in addition  (i)- large number of Muslims especially from Bangladesh in bordering State of Assam (ii)-  West Bengal is bordering Muslim majority Bangladesh and (iii)-  some states of N-E are bordering Myanmar which is under huge influence of China especially militarily)  hence Modi govt seens to be afraid that the said large scale Muslim supported unrest in West Bengal  may also motivate Bangladesh to try [with the military support of Pakistan (which is pining to take revenge against India for what India did to dismember Pakistan in 1971 through the independence of Bangladesh) and China(which has repeatedly claimed Indian State of Arynachal Pradesh in North-Est as part of Chinese territory https://economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/india/china-says-arunachal-pradesh-part-of-it-since-ancient-times/articleshow/88618947.cms ] to dismember India (its entire North-East from the rest  of India) in view of the military advantage to China which can dominate in North East by cutting North EAst from rest of INdia by entering the so-called Chicken-neck (the Siligury corridor militarily https://www.dnaindia.com/explainer/report-can-bangladesh-help-china-cut-india-s-chicken-s-neck-did-muhammad-yunus-hint-at-severing-india-s-northeast-3142472 and https://www.indiatoday.in/india/story/india-fortifies-chicken-neck-as-bangladesh-china-eye-strategic-corridor-2703661-2025-04-04 ) .

(4)- There is one historical fact which may help Bangladesh (which is already having anti-India government since Sheikh Hasiana was removed from power by military coup in August 2024 https://www.pakistanchristianpost.com/opinion-details/4447 ) in promoting an United-Bengal / Greater Bengal / Greater Bangladesh   movement in both Bengals (Bangladesh and West Bengal ) as mentioned at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greater_Bangladesh 

(5)- No doubt Pakistan alone which presently is having increased presence in Bangladesh (especially as  it succeeded in removing Sheikh Hasian from power with the help of militant Jihadi-organizations like Pak-supported Jamaat-e-Islami) can’t succeed in dismembering India but things will change drastically if Pak’s ally China joins hand militarily with Pakistan in dismembering India (its entire North-East from rest of India) which China will gladly do if China starts believing that India is submitting to the efforts of the USA to rope-in India in anti-China military alliance through amended QUAD. . 

Therefore, Prez Trump ought to forget (about roping-in India in anti-China military alliance through amended QUAD) in view of weakness & helplessness of the Indian State against audacious effrontery of W.B.- CM due to the Bangladesh (read Pakistan & China) factor.
