MBS Is unnecessarily creating problems for both Saudi Arabia & Islam by putting condition on Prez Trump about Palestinian. By Hem Raj Jain
The de-facto ruler of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed Bin Salma popularly called MBS may be thinking that by putting condition before Prez Trump of Palestine State ( ‘two State solution’) for Palestinians as a condition before normalization of relation with Israel as per Abrahm accord as reported at https://www.timesofisrael.com/countering-trump-saudi-arabia-says-no-israel-normalization-without-palestinian-state/ ) he has supported the cause of Muslim Palestinians and Arab world but MBS seems to be oblivious of the fact that in reality he is creating serious problems for both the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia & Islam by putting condition before Prez Trump of meaningless ‘two State solution’ for Palestinians, as explained below:-
(1)- Prez Trump has said that he wants USA to take ownership of Gaza-strip and further said that Egypt and Jordan would take displaced Palestinians so that Gaza can be developed as beautiful Riviera (https://www.npr.org/2025/02/04/nx-s1-5287012/trump-netanyahu-ceasefire-gaza ) but Egypt and Jordan have refused to do so (as reported at https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2025/1/29/egypts-el-sisi-rejects-trumps-suggestion-to-take-in-palestinians ) and then Prez Trump further said that Israel will handover Gaza to the USA (as reported at https://www.msn.com/en-us/politics/government/trump-says-israel-would-hand-over-gaza-after-fighting-no-us-troops-needed/ar-AA1yxrjS?ocid=BingNewsSerp ) hence as per Prez Trump no US troops are needed on ground which implies that Israel will use its troops for this purpose by ending cease-fire (which was achieved on January 19) between Hamas and Israel.
(2)- The grounds for ending cease-fire (resumed war between Hamas and Israel) have already been prepared by the USA / Prez Trump in two ways (i)- Prez TRump has given ultimatum to Hamas to release all hostages (which Hamas has refused to do) by Saturday or else "all hell is going to break loose." of course through military of Israel (as reported at https://www.cbsnews.com/news/trump-hamas-hostage-ultimatum/ ) and (ii)- The USA is giving $ 7.4 billions of arms to Israel (as reported at https://www.timesofisrael.com/us-state-department-informs-congress-of-7-4-billion-arms-sale-to-israel/ ) which highly likely will be used by Israel to remove militarily the Hamas and about 2.0 million Palestinians from Gaza.
(2)- As far as the problem of settling these 2.0 million displaced Palestinians (in view of the said refusal of Egypt and Jordan to accommodate them) Israeli PM Netanyahoo has already proposed a solution that Saudi Arabia should establish Palestinian State on its soil which SAudi Arabia has refused to do rather has shown strong opposition to it (as reported at https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2025/2/9/saudi-arabia-slams-netanyahus-suggestion-it-should-host-palestinian-state ) .
(3)- But here lies the major problem for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Islam, as given below, which MBS has failed to understand :-
(i)- With the help of the USA led by Israel’s all-out supporter Prez Trump, Israel will certainly be able to push militarily these 2.0 million Gazan Palestinians in Saudi Arabia and these Palestians will not remain in the territory of Saudi Arabia up to little south of Media (as shown in the map of Greater Israel as
https://currentaffairs.adda247.com/greater-israel-map/ ) but will spread further South which will include Mecca also.
[In the above map of greater Israel territory of Saudi Arabia was shown only up to Medina and little further South because there was no need to settle about 2.0 million Palestinians at that time but now with this need to settle about 2.0 million Palestinians in Saudi Arabia the Greater Israel is bound to go much further south which will include Mecca too]
(ii)- MBS has failed to understand that State is nothing without territory and when there is no territory with Palestininians (Gaza would now be owned by the USA and West-bank due to Jewish- settlements is as good as gone territory for Palestinians) how will there be any State for Palestinians. Moreover the territory on which Israel will certainly push these about 2.0 million Palestinians in Saudi Arabia (which will include Mecca and Medina too) will be controlled militarily by Israel as its territory like the territory of Gaza and West Bank and also of Golan Heights.
(iii)- It also makes the things very difficult for MBS that PM Netanyahu considers himself as divinely chosen protector of Israel (as reported at https://www.timesofisrael.com/netanyahu-believes-hes-israels-man-of-destiny-now-is-his-moment-of-truth/ ) . Hence with Mecca and Medina under military control of Israel what will the future of Islam is anybody’s guess. Rather Global Muslim Ummah should not be surprised if two Abrahamic religions the Christianity (religion of majority in the USA) and Judaism (the religion of Jews in Israel) Gulp the third Abrahamic religion, Islam through what is being done by PrezTrump And PM Netanyahoo through the issue of Palestinians.
(4)- It raises a million dollar question: is there any solution for Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to come out of this difficult situation? Fortunately for Kingdom Saudi Arabia / MBS these is a solution if MBS endeavors to motivate Global Muslim Ummah and its religious leaders (including Imams of Mecca and Medina) in the interest of achieving meaningful ‘One State Solution’ for palestinians under new rule based Islamic GLobal order As I have mentioned in my two articles at https://www.pakistanchristianpost.com/opinion-details/4510 and https://www.pakistanchristianpost.com/opinion-details/4536 . by first motivating and mobilizing the Ummah and its religious leaders of India which will act as leader of the extended SAARC region (having 700 million Muslims in it ) which has a potential of extending as SECAFIC (South East Central ASia Federation of Islamic Cooperation ) which will have majority of Muslim Ummah in it.
It is hoped MBS will rise to the occasion to take the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Islam out of the existential crisis which both are facing due to Israel’s all-out supporter PrezTrump in White house and PM Netanyahu who is fired by unprecedented zeal because he considers himself as divinely chosen protector of Israel.
