My name is “ALI MUJAHID”, and I am a New York based Muslim. Regarding the controversial article on Pakistan Christian Post’s web site, I have a few questions to the newspaper editors and my sentiments to share.
Being a knowledgeable Muslim, I clearly feel that this article is full of BLAPSHEMY and false information about ISLAM. Lies are being associated with our beloved PROPHET HAZRAT MOHAMMED (SAL-ALLA-HO-WA-ALLAY-HE-WASALAM). Anti-Islam and unknown researchers and archeologists were coated in the article, which are in no position to comment on Islam. No Muslims scholar, historian, or archeologist were being asked bout their knowledge, which would be an expertise on the subject. Therefore, the article is a clear expression of enemy ship with Islam.
The article seems an attack on Islam and PCP has published it. My question is this that why a responsible newspaper like PCP does became a part of making fun of a religion and it’s Prophet? We Muslims respect all religions and Prophets. Quran declares Hazrat Mariyam as the most pious and respectable women in mankind and mother of a Prophet Isa (JESUS). Why publishers and editors at PAKISTAN CHRISTIAN POST have showed irresponsibility in publishing extremely blasphemous content about Islam? Is the purpose to create a conflict and sell more? Is the purpose to promote a culture of hate and violence? Every newspaper and media outlet has a moral responsibility to edit and check the stuff before publishing it, but unfortunately, PCP has failed to do so. And hence have joined the anti-Islam gangs of Salman Rushdie, Tasleema Nasreen, Irshad Manji, Ian Hirshi Ali, and Jyllands Posten, which is very shameful.
I would encourage PCP management to immediately remove this controversial and blasphemous article form the website in order to sustain peace and harmony in this already tear up world.
